Description
The Coca-Cola Company was introduced to the market in 1886. While John Stith Pemberton, a pharmacist and optometrist, is credited with concocting the original formula for Coca-Cola, it was Asa Griggs Candler who officially founded The Coca-Cola Company after purchasing the rights to the product in 1888. Under Candler’s leadership, production began, and the beverage quickly became a world-renowned product.
The iconic Coca-Cola logo was designed in 1885 by Frank Mason Robinson. It features Spencerian script, a style of handwriting that originated in the United States in 1850 and was widely used until 1925. This font’s lettering closely resembles the style of Coca-Cola’s logo and is available for free download.
